Saunas

Very few are aware of the fact that the use of saunas in Poland is known for over a thousand years and that it was one of staple health and beauty procedures. Today sauna is usually associated to the Scandinavian countries and their way of life. Its secret lies in the interchanging bath in hot and cold water. The blood circulation is then intensified and excess fat and dead cells are removed. The skin becomes clean and smooth. Sauna bath removes toxins from the body, reinforces and increases the resilience of the system. It is a perfect prophylactic procedure in the fight against various infections. Time spent in a sauna is also brings relaxation, rest and a great aid for losing unwanted kilograms.

There are two dry saunas at your service (cedar and cedar-spruce) and an infrared sauna as well as a variety of way to cool your body. After leaving sauna you may try and compare the experience of a traditional shower with water coming down from a bucket or jumping into a barrel with cold water.

A steam bath works similarly to a low temperature sauna, but with a great level of humidity. This invention comes from the Mediterranean. A steam bath is recommended for people with respiratory problems as well rheumatic ailments. The humid warmth of a steam bath is also beneficial for the skin as it improves blood circulation, cleanses and nourishes.

In the Wellness Zone you may use our two steam baths, both tiled with picturesque mosaic. The steam baths have different temperatures ranging from 42 to 48°C and humidity levels reaching 100%.

The baths are fitted with special lighting which changes colour and a "star studded sky" on the ceilings. These fittings give the opportunity to enjoy chromo therapy simultaneously with the benefits of a steam bath. All saunas and steam baths are filled with relaxing fragrances and sounds enhancing the relaxation and enriching it with elements of aromatherapy.
